Young researchers from Europe and Australasia or Japan: YREP stipends available for training courses or exchange training stays The Australasian Neuroscience Society (ANS), the Japan Neuroscience Society (JNS) and the Federation of European Neuroscience Societies (FENS) support (under the Young Researchers Exchange Programme (YREP)) travel and/or accommodation costs associated with participation in training courses or exchange training stays of young researchers from Europe and Australasia or Japan. IBRO-APRC Exchange Fellowships – Deadline for applications: October 18, 2013.

The IBRO-APRC Exchange Fellowships program aims to allow high-quality junior scientists at the level of postdoctoral fellow or junior faculty (< age of 45) from diverse geographic and scientific areas to broaden the scope of their training in neuroscience by working four to six months abroad in established laboratories. Senior PhD students with a good publication record and strong justification for the exchange program will also be considered. Both the applicant and the host laboratory must be within the Asia-Pacific Region.  The laboratory exchange should take place between January and June 2014. IBRO InEurope Short Stay Grants

InEurope Short Stay Grants fund visits to European institutions by researchers living and working within Europe, so that they can acquire new methods or specific techniques that are necessary for their work. The aim of the program is to increase intra-European mobility of young researchers by providing grants for short, goal-directed exchanges within European laboratories. The duration of such visits is limited to a maximum of four weeks.
